I’m a terrible person and
no one should listen to anything I say.
Yet, these Pure Land teachings
And Amitabha Buddha’s name
Are the way for us faulty folks
To break free of the momentum,
In which our consciousness is caught,
Which, when we die carries us on
into another life of human suffering.
And then another
And another.
Best to become a Buddha
By accepting the help
Amitabha Buddha is offering.
